"We're members of WiMAX and we're watching closely what they're doing. Our system is mostly a software-defined radio, and all of the parameters of what WiMAX will be doing when they get around to a 5.8 GHz certification are well within our radio's capabilities. So, while we certainly will offer a WiMAX option... we suspect it won't be very popular because turning on "WiMAX mode" will actually degrade the system's overall performance and reliability."
Again... I want to make it abundantly clear that's not a quote from Bolt... but it's as closely paraphrased as I can make it.
Bolt made a number of other such pithy observations in the interview, for an article in an upcoming issue of FOCUS On Broadband Wireless Internet Access.
